Hello to all Members!
After serving as your President for the past five years, I feel it is now time
to pass this honor to someone else. I will serve this year as Past President,
helping the Board and the new President. It is always good to have someone with
a fresh perspective and new ideas to come onto the scene.
I have enjoyed being President of this wonderful association and have met and
worked with many great people. Thanks for this opportunity. Your new president,
Dorothy Bergeron, has served on the Board for many years. She is currently a
professor at UMass Dartmouth. I feel that Professor Bergeron will be a very
competent and inspiring leader of our association.
- Margaret Leger, Past President
The Massachusetts Association of Blood Bank board members are all volunteers -- medical technologists, physicians, nurses and those in a number of other career paths —who have worked together to keep the MABB a live and vibrant organization. The MABB has some wonderfully talented people who give of their time and energy to bring you the yearly seminar and also a chance to meet and speak with the vendors of the medical products and derivatives you use every day in your laboratories. If you are interested in volunteering or serving as a board member on the MABB, please let us know.
